Our current design presents the files as they are in their native format, and also allows us to perform line by line comparisons very quickly, while the file is still loading to update the display, and open very large files. We don't currently support arbitrary wrapping of the display, but it is something on our wishlist. Our file formats which perform a conversion will present the file in a tidied form, but this does 'add data' so any save would save in the new format.
